DCDI PROJECT
In Partnership with the IDeA Foundation and with co-funding from the European Union, work has been completed on a trail project in the Dilijan National Park, using old existing dirt roads, historic trails, and newly constructed segments of trails.
During this project, TFC built 3 bridges, 10 toilets, and 11 trails in the dilijan National park. The difficulty level of the trails very greatly, offering more opportunities to a variety of users. The Parz Lake loop trail and the Hidden waterfall trail are also great options for family hikes.
During the project, TFC was in the unique position to gainfully employ 5 local workers.
There are still so many great trails in this area, and more work needs to be done. Hopefully, with enough funding, this can be accomplished in the coming years.
