In Partnership with Hike Armenia, TFC has been busy restoring historic trails, building new trails, installing trail signs and blazes throughout the Vayots Dzor region. TFC has already worked on 10 trails around the Gomk, Martiros, and Kapuyt area, creating a network of trails in various difficulty levels, for hikers of all ages. In these projects, the locals are highly involved, and 2 of them are also participating in other projects in other parts of Armenia. In this area, the benefits of trails are highly noticeable; in the last 3 years, the village locals opened up campgrounds, homestays and now offer touristic services. It is such a scenic area with many interesting historic trails.
